I know you sing in the car, in the shower, or in those rare precious moments you get to yourself.
(Or at least I hope you do.)
Do you know you have one of the greatest healing tools right under your nose?
Your voice.
That small, miraculous part of your throat — your vocal box — is gold.
USE IT.
Please, for the love of all things human and holy, do not think of singing as something you only do in the shower. Think of it as an essential part of living a vibrant, healthy life.
I could go into the whole narrative of you are sound, we are sound, everything is vibration, yada yada…
But really, what I’m here to say is this:
👉 Open your mouth and let sound out.
No matter how it sounds. Capisce? You won’t shatter glass or cause accidents, promise.

5 Simple Ways to Use Your Voice for Healing
1️⃣ Hum first thing in the morning
Before coffee, before screens — hum one note while you stretch. Really doesn’t matter what note. Honestly, it is the sound that comes out of you first that is the right one.
Feel it vibrate in your chest and settle your energy.
2️⃣ Sigh intentionally
A long, audible exhale relaxes your diaphragm and signals safety to your nervous system.
I do this so often throughout the day that I am actually glad I am living a somewhat isolated life at the moment.
3️⃣ Tone on a single vowel
Pick “AH” or “OO.” Hold it for one long breath.
Notice where you feel it — in your throat, your chest, your belly.
4️⃣ Sing with your favorite song
It’s not about sounding good.
It’s about syncing breath, emotion, and rhythm — and letting joy move through you.
5️⃣ Use your voice when you feel tense
Instead of swallowing emotion, let out a gentle hum or low tone.
Sound moves energy and helps emotion find its way out.
I could use this last one myself, as I am always the one to hold things in! Even for myself, I am still remembering I can use my voice to set my emotions free.
Use it!
Your voice doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
It already carries your energy, your emotion, your frequency — your medicine.
So go ahead. MAKE SOME NOISE.
Sing in the car.
Hum in the kitchen.
Sigh in the shower.
Your body will thank you for it. 🎶
Love you,
